Failure Resume

My failure resume is a recognition of all the work I've been able to accomplish over the years that allowed me to gain the skills I have now. I believe failure is the only true measurement of success — an amalgamation of past experiences that has led me to where I am now.

Preface

Wellness

My career in NYC started as a wellness professional. I cut my teeth building a business as a personal trainer at Equinox, then ventured into the admin side of corporate wellness, managing a yoga start-up called Y7 that scaled from 6 locations to 13 and was featured in Inc Magazine's Top 100 Wellness Startups. During this time, I also partnered with Jordan Brand to train high school basketball athletes for pre-season, while maintaining a wellness podcast that landed me a Lululemon ambassadorship.

Equinox & Jordan Brand

I grouped these two together because I was a personal trainer for both. At Equinox, the clientele was exclusive and the facilities were high-end, with state-of-the-art workout equipment — much like Terminal 23, the former gym of Carmelo Anthony as a legacy Jordan Brand ambassador.

Y7 Studios

Started as a Front Desk Associate, but I left as a Flagship Studio Manager, Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Lead, Certified Yoga Instructor, and Co-Lead of Freedom to Flow — a non-profit that offered yoga to students all around NYC.

Chapter 03

Lululemon

I was awarded ambassador status after working behind the scenes for numerous years, helping develop the menswear line in addition to brand awareness. Lululemon was home to at least three live podcast recordings, plus numerous photoshoots. My impact was felt through many activations, but I hang my hat on turning a women's crossbody bag into a unisex bike bag for a cycling crew called Good Co during a photoshoot.

Chapter 04

Production

My production experience is deeply connected to learning how to scale a business. The lessons I learned running the day-to-day of a flagship brick-and-mortar transitioned quite easily into podcasting and mural painting. Having aired over 300 episodes, with 5+ live full-production performances, I learned the ins and outs of how the sausage gets made behind the scenes, while also curating the overall user experience end-to-end. Mural painting was a side quest after the pandemic, but a true baptism by fire in learning and leading a whole new industry of large-scale advertising. I've painted hundreds of walls, rigged suspended scaffolding on rooftops, and operated heavy machinery like 60-foot boom lifts.
